The NFL season always seems to go by pretty quick each year. For some teams it ends sooner rather than later, but the Rams’ season has come to an unfortunate end. I have always taken sports more seriously than I probably should, but then again that’s how I am, not going to apologize for it. I do think, though, that I’ve become better at finding the positives. It was one of the most enjoyable seasons I’ve had since the Super Bowl 56 season. I got to see them win 6 of the 7 games I made it to this year. I got to share another season with my amazing wife and got to go to games with friends and family. I got to see Matthew Stafford put together an MVP-type season, and hopefully next week he does win the award. Each of the last three seasons they have taken one step forward, from a Wild Card loss, to a Divisional loss, to an NFC Championship loss. Maybe next year they take another step forward and play in the Super Bowl again at SoFi Stadium. I feel they have the talent and coaching to do so and improve on this season. It’s sad to have to wait until September to go to another game, but is football really ever over? Before we know it, it’ll be free agency, the draft, and minicamps. Actually, it’s just a short little break.
